Tony Hoare is a professional photographer from Canada, whose speciality is humanitarian photography. Tony very kindly donated his time and skill to travel to various Nijera Shikhi projects in Khatira, Jessore and surrounding areas in November this year. You can see his stunning photos of people benefitting from the project and common everyday scenes in Bangladesh by clicking here.

We are also pleased to announce continuing links with Cementing Futures, a charity seeking to support children's education in Bangladesh. Cementing Futures have a sponsorship scheme where 60 children per month, from the poorest families in Dhaka, are sponsored to attend school for a couple of hours a day, with a nutritious snack provided. The cost of sponsoring one child is £10 per month.  Click here to visit their website
